Einstein had a thing about bouncing a ball on a moving train. If you are the person bouncing the ball then it appears to bounce vertically up and down. If, however, you are watching the train go by, then the ball appears to bound across the countryside. Assuming the train has transparent sides I suppose. Point is, it's all about relativity. And from our new location, on the other side of the ring road, the city appears new and strange. Although our balls still bounce consistently up and down. Actually that sounds awful. |
