7. Important things At the end of our two days investigating together we took a moment to note down, individually in our Investigator's Notebooks, what we felt was the most important or interesting thing we had discovered in the course of the investigation so far. Here's a few of them: Things to remember - you can draw with leaves, mice are down in the dell. (Yr2) I liked holding the microphone and interviewing people and finding a tree stump. (Yr2) We were taking photos of things in the dell close up. I have found out that close up pictures look better than normal ones. (Yr5) The most important thing is I haven't used a video camera before yesterday so I found out how to use it. (Yr5) I went in a dark tree nobody came with me. I was not scared. (Yr2) On wednesday I did a poem and watched a film and looked at some photos and did a sentence in the book and I was a messenger. The longer you sit the calmer you get. (Yr2) 1. That you can look through lots of things. 2. That I can work a camera. (Yr5) The most important thing is that we have shared the camera and took five goes each and sharing. We are looking at wildlife and the interesting thing is that when we sit still we keep quiet. The best thing is just taking part. (Yr2) The most important thing I have found out is looking at the dell, because there are lots of lovely things there. I also used my first camera. (Yr5) There is more than you think in this school. (Yr2) The most interesting thing I've found out is that its good to investigate. (Yr2) I found out that benches are mouldy and collapsing but the stump from the old tree is good for wildlife. (Yr5) The most important thing is how to use a video camera. How to hunt for bugs using certain equipment. And that I enjoyed myself. I found out that I am good at finding things. (Yr5) |
