Classrooms Classrooms get used for teaching and learning, working independently, playing, sorting out problems, christmas party games and disco (to name a few). This year 2 class reckoned that a classroom should make you feel happy, excited, comfortable, cheerful, normal, ready to work and safe. Their designs included 'windows that open properly', 'some soft flooring that is smooth but not slippery', 'shiny walls to make the class sparkle', 'bigger chairs', blackout blinds and a home corner/changeable space. In 2008, a group of students were able to design (although not lay out) the toilet blocks for the new school building. These designs can be viewed by clicking here...or on the 'new toilets' link below right.
