Entrance Halls Since the entrance hall is the first thing most people see (and is the one thing that most people see), it's important to get it right. This year five class reckoned it should be 'nice' and 'nicely decorated', 'clean, tidy and organised', 'well painted' and 'wow' - it should surprise the people who visit. Oh and there should definitely be 'no curtains'. Their designs encompassed an impressive approach to the entrance with a sculpture garden and path leading to the automatic doors which open into a high and airy space topped with a 'skylight dome'; lots of high ceilings and impressively shaped and sized windows; towering bookshelves; columns; a tea stand; boxing ring; computers; and (of course) a dungeon to keep naughty children in. In 2008, a group of students were able to design (although not lay out) the toilet blocks for the new school building. These designs can be viewed by clicking here...or on the 'new toilets' link below right.
