Cross '24' with 'Boys from the Blackstuff' with 'Blake's Seven' and you get an approximation of Talking Birds current venture 'The Last Heroes', a fast-paced thriller made with fifty performers from the fine Community Department of the Belgrade Theatre. Performs at the B2 theatre from the 9th to the 12th April.

On sunday 6 April the Whale will appear outside the midlands arts centre in Birmingham as part of the mac's last weekend before it closes for redevelopment. Shows every 3 minutes from 11am until 5pm.

With barely 7 months left to Christmas, the poignant yet strangely farcical festive cabaret Trevor Goose and his Dark Night of Lights makes an unseasoned appearance as part of the Byte-Sized festival at Warwick Arts Centre in preparation for a Christmas outing in December. The Goose is appearing as part of woozy evening double bill with Jake Oldershaw's new cabaret version of Intimate History.
